Submission guidelines

1) for Abstract preparation

The conference organizers welcome the submission of original abstracts on topics relevant to the focus of the congress. All abstracts will be peer reviewed. Accepted papers will be published in the book of abstracts.

The deadline for submitting abstracts (for open/oral presentations and poster presentations) is February 28. Authors will be notified whether their abstract has been accepted for oral presentations or poster presentations by March 15.

Please note: Presenting authors of the accepted abstracts should pay the registration fee by May 31, in order to have the presentation included in the final version of the conference programme.

Abstracts must be in English. The abstract should not exceed 250 words (excluding the title, authors, affiliations and keywords) and should comply with the following guidelines:

Some papers are better suited for poster presentation, others for oral presentation. Authors may indicate a preference for open paper/poster presentation on the abstract submission form; however, all abstracts will be considered for both open papers and/or poster sessions. Do not submit attachments, slides, or any reference materials together with the abstract

2) for Open papers presentation

The open papers can be submitted in the already top-down defined symposia (see the section), individually (some of them may be grouped by organisers in various symposia) and/or as a group of papers under  a bottom-up defined symposium.

We would like to kindly request that you do not exceed the designated presentation times and keep your presentations evidence-based.

Please bring your PowerPoint presentation on a USB memory stick, and meet with the technician prior to your presentation to load it onto the hall computer. Kindly advise us if you need special equipment for your presentation in advance, so we can attempt to accommodate your request.

3) for Poster presentation

Your poster should provide a clear overview of your research aims and serve as a starting point to initiate and stimulate discussions.

Please note that all posters should be printed before the conference. There will be NO poster printing facilities available on site!
